"Dear Blake
This is the day that we celebrated you, and for you it was a day of presents, fun, and family. For me it was seeing the joy in your heart. I can not describe the amount of pride I have in knowing you will become a great man and I see that I am what molds you, what you do not know is that you are what molds me son. I love you more and more each day and thank god for in trusting me with such a great piece of his work. I know you will do far greater things than I. My only words I have to offer, "always do what's right and you will never regret it". I love you son"
This was my husband's letter to our son!

Day 30

I restarted my challenge On May 1st.
This is after 1 month!
I wasn't the happiest with my results only because I had only lost 2 lbs.
That was until this morning when I took this picture and put it next to my beginning pic!
WOW! I was actually shocked at the results!
I wanted to see if I had lost inches and after I took my measurements I did my happy dance then level 3 of the Shred.

Here are my current stats.

DAY 1:                                             DAY 30:

Weight 134 pounds                              132
Waist 35"                                             34"
    Hips 38 3/4"                                        33 1/2"
Stomach 33 1/4"                                  32"
Thigh 22"                                            20"
Chest 35"                                            34"
Bicep 10 1/2"                                     10 3/4
I couldn't be more excited at the results.
So last month I gave up soda, alcohol, fast food, and chocolate.
But still was eating whatever I wanted.
This month I started counting my calories and realized I need to track everything I put into my mouth because wow it adds up! Not just food but my beverages sure do add up!

I have never ever had to track my calories. I've pretty much been able to add in exercise and lost weight. So it's a whole new world for me, I'm not the biggest fan of it but I am a fan of seeing results.

I know what I want my body to look like! And I'm am on a mission to transform into the women I know I can be!

So here's to another 30 days of getting stronger and healthier!

My Mr. Bubeck

My husband is A M A Z I N G

I am taking this opportunity to gush all about my man.

I started my new weekend job 3 weeks ago and have to admit I was a little worried that I'd come home to a destroyed house and have to cook dinner and just try to play catch up.
In fact one fellow mom told me my husband wouldn't last because he'd hate it and then I'd hate it because I'd still have to do everything for the house!

Well let me tell you......HE HAS BLOWN ME AWAY!
Every night that I work I come home to a spotless house (in fact I think it's cleaner than it's ever been) and dinner on the table!
Mind you he has a full time job as well and weekends are supposed to be his day to rest and sleep in but instead he's up and making me breakfast and coffee and sending me off to work with a smile on his face.
He is a fantastic father. And after a year in Blythe not being with his kids daily I think they all 3 needed this time to themselves each weekend.

I was worried not having a day off together, but each evening we make an effort to spend quality (not quantity) time together. And to try and do a date night each week. Which has been so nice.

I feel so blessed to be married to this man.
He knows me needs before I realize them myself.
He lets me be crazy sometimes and doesn't punish me for it.
He forgives me
He cooks for me
He cleans for me
He spoils me
He calms me
He prays for me
He makes me laugh
He makes me feel beautiful
He works hard for me and his children

I mean the list is endless. I love this man!

We have been through so much in the 8 and 1/2 years we've been married.
Last year was hard. Probably the hardest year of my life. But God brought us out of that season in our lives and brought us closer to Him and together as a couple. So in hindsight I am thankful for that storm.

My Mr. Bubeck,
My words seem to fall flat when I try to express my hearts feelings for you.
but I want you to know
I LOVE YOU!
I am yours and only yours
You captured my heart so many years ago and have kept it safe and loved ever since.
I am excited to continue our journey hand and hand together as we trust our Lord with our lives and continue to follow His path for us.
Thank you for being our families spiritual leader.
Thank you for loving me.
I am BLESSED to be Mrs. Bubeck

Letting go....

God has been making his voice loud and clear to me lately. And the message is.

LET IT ALL GO!

If you know me, you know I like to be in control. I like things planned and like everything to go as planned and run smoothly.

I HATE change. I just hate it. Even good change stresses me out.

But right now in my life is a season for change. Good change I think (hope)

I have been working 10 hours a week since Sept. I was hating every minute of it. It's been hard. My heart is at home with my babies. But lately while I've been there I felt a change start to shift. I absolutely hate leaving my children but once I'm there I feel like I'm making a difference and really shining. Hard to explain.

Anyways so BAM! Outta the blew last Friday I get a text offering me a weekend job! It's an admission/marketing position. Sat and Sun!

I of course was like heck no! I don't wanna double my hours but then it just made since. Dustin would be with our babies, they wouldn't be with sitters twice a week. I would still be able to go to church with them. The pay and perks are gonna be N I C E

We prayed about for a day and night and I accepted the job. That day I mourned my old life that I knew and loved and longed for.  Everyday with my kids. Nothing but playdates and freedom! Family weekends.

That's when I saw this quote...

So tomorrow I start this new life. I've been praying praying and praying and God just keeps telling me to let it all go. He's got a plan for my life that is better than the one I had planned.

The song above has come on almost every time I get in my car. And it pretty much sums up my feelings so perfectly.

Dustin put in his two weeks at his job that he's been at for I think about 6 years now. It was hard on him. He has great relationships with everyone there and is leaving on fabulous terms. He has accepted a job that is completely out of his comfort zone, and will be learning this new career from scratch. But I think he will flourish in this new role and will end up loving it and being blessed by it.

But never the less it's scary stuff! He got offered the job yesterday and the pay was about $3 an hour less than what we were expecting. I flood of panic started to wash over me. Are we making a mistake? Is this a sign? Should he back out of it now and stay at his current job?

I had to really check myself and just stop and pray.

But again God shows me through his word:

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.         Romans 8:28

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.         Philippians 4:6

We believe this our the path God has laid out for our lives right now. And we are taking that step of faith and trusting God will continue to provide for us and our children.

I am moved by Gods provision, mercy, love, grace, and patience with me. I am letting it go to Him!
