The Twilight Saga

My friends and I have had this crazy tradition of going to the midnight showing of each Twilight movie! We go to dinner first then go to the theater for hours and take silly pictures!

This year we all decided to just wait and go at a normal time on Sat. Plus this year we added to extra friends to join in on the fun!

The movie BLEW MY MIND! It was so good. And the night was so fun. But as the credits started to roll I was saddened that the saga and tradition was over. But my memories of all the events will last a lifetime.

All about Bella

Bella Rose Bubeck
Born Oct 13th 10:05am
7lbs 5oz 20"

1st Birthday

2nd Birthday

3rd Birthday

It makes me sad to see how quickly the time has past and my baby faced little girl is growing up into a beautiful toddler.

I started a new tradition this year where I ask them 20 question on their birthday. So here are her responses, some surprising some I knew.

  1. How old are you? 3
  2. Who is your best friend? Sammie
  3. What is your favorite thing to do? Color
  4. What is your favorite color? Pink and Purple
  5. What is your favorite thing to eat? Pancakes! (probably because I made them this am!)
  6. What is your favorite thing to do with our family? Play games
  7. What is your favorite toy? Tangled
  8. What do you want to be when you grow up? Tangled
  9. What makes you sad? Spanking my butt! LOL
  10. What is your favorite show to watch? DORA
  11. What is your favorite book? Cinderella
  12. What was your best part about your birthday? Wearing my tangled costume
  13. Where do you like to go? The beach
  14. What is your favorite treat? Lollypop
  15. What is your favorite fruit? Candy was her first response, then blueberries
  16. What is your favorite animal? Piggy
  17. What is your favorite song? ABC's
  18. What is your favorite outfit? Blue and purple dress
  19. What do you like to take to bed with you? A baby
  20. What is your favorite thing to do outside? Play with my pink bucket and water.

My precious baby girl is STRONG-WILLED! I have no idea where she gets that from! haha
I have no doubt that she will move mountains one day! The strength and determination she shows at just 3 years old could put many people to shame. My prayer for her is that she will learn much earlier then I did to speak only in love! And to put that determination and focus on God's will!

She is so smart! She can count to 10 perfectly and goes to 20 but not always perfectly yet. She can also count to 10 in Spanish. Thank you Dora and Diego!
She is itching to go to school like her big brother, so she will next year! That's gonna be hard to have both of them away from me.

She LOVES Tangled as you probably already knew.

She loves to color and paint! She loves her baby dolls! One goes with us at all times. She loves makeup and doing hair. She loves her brother. She doesn't really like milk but she drinks it so she can move onto juice! She can't wait to be a "soccer star" Which makes mommy very happy! She has a temper but generally calms down quickly. And sometimes she "just needs to be alone and take a bath" She is truly my daughter!

I pray daily God will bless me with a strong and healthy relationship with her as she grows no doubt into a strong young women who will continue to test me daily. But I know with out a Shadow of a doubt she has made me a better mother and women of Christ.

She hears she is beautiful everyday but I also praise her daily for things other then outward beauty but inward beauty and her strengths! She will learn that she is so much more then a pretty face. Her value in this world will not fade with time like beauty. This may sound strange for me to write about my 3 year old but I just want so much more for her!

She had her 3 year old check up and is the 90% for her height! 39 1/4 inches tall and 28 lbs! Which means she is 3/4 inches shy of riding Spash mountain at Disneyland (and much more) haha and moving into a booster seat. Seriously I can't believe in no time I wont have any babies in carseats.
I think some tears might be shed that day.

But other then that she is happy and healthy and beautiful and loving and feisty and sassy and my daughter!

Happy Birthday Bella Rose!
Mommy loves you more then I can express

Galaxy Game

Last Thursday my wonderful husband bought me and my sister tickets to the LA galaxy playoff game!
This was our first pro soccer game we got to attend.
Excited was an understatement!
We got great parking thanks to Laurie's "abilities"

We got great seats cause I overheard them upgrade the lady in front of us so of course me and my big mouth were like "um you're not gonna upgrade us too???" So they did!

We even got a personal escort into the players elevator thanks to Laurie and her awesome cane and gimp. We even got a glimpse into the locker room!

The game was super exciting and the experience was epic! I couldn't have more fun with anyone other then my sister.

We laughed almost the whole time, especially when some man in front of us was freezing to death! Poor guy.

We ate a lot! Carls jr, then some bomb nachos!

And we cheered our hearts out for our boys!!
Especially when a certain player with an extraordinary last name (Magee) scored the first goal.
The entire stadium was chanting "MAGEE" I looked over at Laurie and she had the biggest smile and said "every ones cheering my name"
I think Laurie is now his biggest fan!

All in all it was a fabulous game and memory I will cherish a lifetime. Oh and of course Galaxy won 2-1!!

Did I mention we got free hats too!!

I adore her!

Months Mission

I like challenges.
I like lists!
I like to see something written down and be able to knock it outta the park and then cross it off!
I shared with some friends the other night that many days I start my to-do lists with things I've already done so I can cross them off.
Yes I'm that crazy!
But it works for me so I go with it.
So I new month brings so much possibility! So I thought I'd get myself back on track with many areas of my life and make a list for the month.
So if I blog about it I figure I'll have more accountability to get it done!
Plus it might help me actually blog.

So here goes my mission for the month!

1. THE LOVE DARE! To actually do this for my husband. I hope to not just complete each dare but give everything I have into it and pray for him daily.

2. To run a total of 54 miles this month! No more taking days off! Race day will be here before I know it!!

3. No Fast food for me or the kids! We have gotten into a bad habit of eating almost daily again.

4. Make my bed every day! I know this might sound silly but I NEVER do it and it just makes your room look so much more inviting at the end of the day.

5. Watch less tv and spend more time alone with the hubbs. My goal is to only watch 1 show a night! I have way to many shows recorded!

6. While Blake's at school to do something special with Bella. Read, craft, play, etc.

7. BLOG!

8. Get back into couponing more regularly

9. Drink less caffeine!

10. Start doing devotionals with the kids daily!

Wish me luck! I pray and hope I can take this list and really apply it to my life this month and then have it become a way of life for me!

Embrace the camera Hulk!

It's been a LONG while since I embraced the camera!

So I thought I'd start this month of right!

These were from last night after trick or treating.

This is my youngest nephew Cullen!

There is just something about this lil man that has stolen my heart.

Aunt Bean love you Cullen!

Now it's your turn to Embrace the camera!

Get infront of the lens instead of behind it all the time!

Las Vegas

We took a trip to Vegas this weekend to celebrate my big brothers 10th wedding anniversary.

We could only stay up there one night but one night away child free is just so refreshing and rejuvenating.

We car pooled up with my brother and best friend and I must say I think we laughed the most during the car rides.

They had a super fun Elvis renewal of their vows and I actually ended up crying. Their love for each other just gets to me. It's just so pure and sweet.

We went out to dinner afterwards then changed and hit the town. Some harder then others.

My big brother Donny holds very special place in my heart. He's on the quieter side but once he's relaxed and had just a couple he turns into the most talkative/huggiest version of himself. And we have a blast together.

Congrats Donny and Vanessa on 10 years! Love you guys!

You know those days that are just pleasent and good?
Today was one of those.
Nothing extradinary or amazing.
Just an over all good day.

I woke up this morning and was emotional and tired.
I was fearful it was going to be a not fun day.
But a friend of mine agreed to go running with me!
So we got our FABULOUS babysitter and headed out for a 2.5 mile run!
Running with someone is sooooooooo much better then running alone.
Convo flows, and my mind doesn't even seem to notice the burn.
We are both doing the half marathon tinkerbell run in January so we are planning to train 3 days a week. Hopefully together at least two days!
I've been running for the past 3 weeks, but this was Sarah's first run back since Januarty.
So 2.5 was amazing!

I always feel so much happier after a workout! I love that.
We then took our 4 kiddo's and sitter to lunch. WABA GRILL! YUM and Healthy :)

After all the fun me and the kids went home and they blessed me by taking an hour and half nap. Well Blake napped for sure, I'm not positive if Bella did but either way she stayed quiet in her room so that's all I ask.

I was so thrilled with the time of peace and quiet I rewarded them after nap time with fudgecicles!!

And after that I broke into my stockpile and gave them each a bottle of shaving cream!

Needles to say they LOVED IT!
It was super cute and silly and messy and just plain fun!
I highly recommend it for all moms.

After that mess they wanted to wash the table so we changed into swimsuits,
got the slip n slide set up
got buckets and rages to clean the table.

I made an iced coffee and put my feet up!

That's what I call a perfect afternoon!

And now as I finish up this blog post my beautiful bff Leah invites us over for dinner! YIPPEE I also don't have to cook!!!!
I see God in all of this today.
All the joy!
All the blessings!
All the Love!
